In my experience, any meaningful community-level success that I have been part of was because of the wonderful, amazing, brilliant and powerful women who were involved.
Our North Cowichan election campaign was no exception.
There’s been speculation that our victory was achieved because of 3rd party support. To this I can categorically state, “Nope!” It was because we had an incredible group of amazing women leading us.
We couldn’t and wouldn’t have done this without them.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. To all the women involved with our campaign, most notably our two new elected women councillors, Krystal Adams and Valerie Russell.
Congratulations North Cowichan! Wisely done.
